There is no end to bitter war of words between the Delhi government and the Centre with allegations and counter-allegations flowing from one end to another. With both the sides accusing the other of shielding the corrupt, the issue of Central Bureau of Investigation raid won't die easily.
In a no holds barred attack against the Centre over CBI raids at Delhi Secretariat, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal revealed, "A CBI officer told me yesterday that nodal agency has been asked to target all opposition parties and finish those who don't fall in line."

Accusing Finance Minister Arun Jaitley of running away from investigation in the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) scam, Kejriwal tweeted, "Can Jaitley ji's denial in press be taken as gospel truth? Very serious allegations against him. Why is he running away from investigations? If Jaitley ji were let off without investigations on basis of his press denial, then should all coal and 2G accused also be similarly let off? Allegations against Jaitley ji are very very serious. Amounts involved are huge. He should either resign or be removed to enable independent probe."

The remarks came after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley hit out at Kejriwal saying that the Delhi Chief Minister seems to believe in untruth and defamation.
The political war began following CBI conducted raids at the Delhi Secretariat after the Anti-Corruption Branch registered a case of criminal misconduct against Kejriwal's Principal Secretary Rajender Kumar and other private people.
The Aam Admi Party has cried foul over raids and has accused the Centre of shielding Jaitley in the DDCA scam. The party has called the CBI raids on Rajendra Kumar a facade.
The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) had on December 9 questioned Rajender Kumar in connection with alleged irregularities in conducting fitness tests for commercial vehicles. According to ACB sources, the queries mostly revolved around action taken by Kumar after the anti-corruption bureau submitted a report in 2013 in connection with the alleged irregularities.
In 2013, Kumar, who is now Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, was the transport commissioner.
