Narendra Modi will address over a dozen rallies in Bihar: BJP leader
The NDA, which has not announced its chief ministerial candidate, is pinning its hope on Modi in the five-phased polls.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance's star campaigner in Bihar, will address more than a dozen rallies in the last three phases of five-phased election.

"Modi ji will address four rallies each in third and fourth phase and five in the last phase. The details of his campaign are being finalised," a top Bharatiya Janata Party leader, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told reporters here.

He denied there were any moves to curtail the appearances of Modi who has already addressed nine rallies in Bihar after the announcement of polls in September.

"No question arises to cut short rallies of Modiji. He is the main factor in this election. The youth and the aspiring section of Bihar, which goes beyond caste affiliations loves to hear Modiji," said the BJP leader.

The NDA, which has not announced its chief ministerial candidate, is pinning its hope on Modi whereas Janata Dal-United, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress 'Grand Alliance' has projected Nitish Kumar as its chief ministerial candidate.

The BJP leader, who is also a key strategist of the party in Bihar, also said that votes of alliance partners are getting transferred for both the NDA and the grand alliance.

He also claimed that NDA would win between 28-32 seats in first phase where 49 seats saw polling and 20-24 in the second phase out of 32, and also sweep the third and fourth phase.

The BJP leader, however accepted that battle is tough in Seemanchal area, which will see polling on November 5, the last phase.

"It's tough but election in Simanchal is very adventurous," he added.
