229. Neemuch is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Mandsour Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Neemuch falls in Neemuch district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,10,693 voters in the seat, which includes 1,08,765 male voters, and 1,01,927 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Neemuch recorded a voter turnout of 79.16%. In 2013 the turnout was 76.18%, and in 2008 it was 74.02%.

In 2013, Dilip Singh Parihar of BJP won the seat by a margin of 21,667 votes (14.57%). Dilip Singh Parihar secured 49.3% of the total votes polled.

BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 13,843 votes (11.89%), registering 37.43% of the total votes polled.
