21. Sardarshahar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Churu Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sardarshahar falls in Churu district and North region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,67,208 voters in the seat, which includes 1,40,989 male voters, and 1,26,219 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Sardarshahar recorded a voter turnout of 76.03%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.57%, and in 2008 it was 74%.
In 2013, Bhanwarlal of INC won the seat by a margin of 7,057 votes (3.92%). Bhanwarlal secured 48.21% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 9,774 votes (6.45%), registering 48.77% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Sardarshahar Assembly segment of the Churu Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
