78. Sihawal is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Sidhi Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Sihawal falls in Sidhi district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,25,248 voters in the seat, which includes 1,18,635 male voters, and 1,06,615 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Sihawal recorded a voter turnout of 66.03%. In 2013 the turnout was 65.25%, and in 2008 it was 61.13%.
In 2013, Kamleshwar Indrajeetkumar of INC won the seat by a margin of 32,556 votes (23.5%). Kamleshwar Indrajeetkumar secured 52.64% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 2,468 votes (2.27%), registering 34.18% of the total votes polled.
