New Delhi: BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on Thursday while referring a portal claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal got admission to IIT-Kharagpur through 'fake quota' and not by merit.
Swamy's tweet reads, "Big Big Expose: Kejriwal got in IIT through fake Quota- Not on Merit- Documents Exposed."

Kejriwal was awarded the B Tech (Hons) degree from IIT-Kharagpur. He attended the institute during the 1985-89 sessions.
Swamy's claim came after a RTI plea to IIT-Kharagpur seeking information on how Kejriwal got admission to the B Tech programme and what was his All India Rank (AIR). Replying to the RTI queries, IIT-Kharagpur has said the information is not available but gave other details including Kejriwal's Roll No and years of study.
The RTI revelation came after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) accused the PM of falsely claiming he graduated from Delhi University.
