HTC 10: All that you need to know about the upcoming flagship smartphone
Here's a list of features the new HTC 10 will come powered with.

New Delhi: HTC is no stranger to product details being leaked out before scheduled launches. Its next flagship - the HTC 10 - is no exception either. The phone is set for a release today and there is little left to anticipate about the new handset, thanks to the series of image and specification leaks that have been doing the rounds of the internet from weeks.

Here's a list of features the new HTC 10 is expected to come powered with:

1. The HTC 10 is in line with last year's much talked about iPhone-lookalike A9 with its overall clean metal design. The new phone, however, comes with chamfered edges, a camera bump in the rear along with the familiar HTC logo.

2. A promotional video of the smartphone, leaked just a day ahead of launch, shows off volume rockers on the right along with a power button and a physical home button.

3. Earlier leaks have hinted at the HTC 10 having a 5.15-inch QHD display offering 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution.

4. The latest flagship is likely to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to pack a bumper 128 GB of internal storage and thus could also carry a hefty price tag.

5. It will further include HTC's Boom Sound technology which the company skipped from its previous A9 smartphone.

6. HTC 10 is expected to come with a 12 megapixel 'Ultra Pixel' rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and laser autofocus for sharper images. The rear camera will come equipped with a dual tone flash. The front snapper, on the other hand, will be 5 megapixel with its own image stabilising capabilities.

7. In tune with the newest trend of including the Type-C port, the HTC 10 too will feature the reversible port for charging and data exchange.

8. The phone is expected to have an improved HTC Sense 8 skin atop Android Marshmallow.

9. HTC 10 will be backed by a powerful 3,000mAh battery. Early speculations also hinted at a digital fingerprint reader.

10. Looking at the leaked promotional video, the phone is expected to come in three colour choices - Gold, Silver, and Black.

Is it yet to be seen how HTC 10 is priced in accordance to the markets it is launched in. Whether the smartphone comes packed with all these features or HTC still has any surprise left for consumers shall be known once the launch event kick starts at 5.30 PM (IST) today.
