Jio Platforms has created an innovative AI platform which is called Jio Brain. The company has developed the platform with the help of hundreds of engineers who have been a core part of the research and development team over the last 2 years.
The post via Aayush Bhatnagar, Senior Vice President, Jio here, talks about the company’s latest efforts in the field of AI and machine learning.
He points out that Jio Brain integrates ML capabilities for the telcos, enterprise network and even any industry-specific IT environment that too without undergoing major network / IT transformation and upgrades to support the technology.
Jio Brain comes armed with a rich set of 500+ REST APIs and Data APIs that can be used to create ML-enabled services for these businesses.
But that’s not all, Jio Brain is not purely focused on the enterprises and you also have advanced AI features that can be used for images, videos, text, documents, speech. In addition to this, Jio Brain is offering its in-built AI algorithms “as a service" for its customers.
He also explains that Jio Brain will help create new 5G services, look to transform enterprises, help with optimising networks, and lay the groundwork for the development of 6G networks, where machine learning will have a big role to play in the near future.
Jio Platforms is also open to working and collaborating with AI / ML researchers that have similar interests which can be used to create value, and scale the Jio Brain innovation ecosystem.
