Microsoft today announced the launch of Surface Pro 7 Plus for Business in India alongside the Surface Hub 2S 85 for business and education customers. The Surface Pro 7 Plus that debuted globally earlier this year features Intel’s Tiger Lake CPUs, more RAM, and an optional LTE variant. On the other hand, the Surface Hub 2S 85 features an 85-inch large display and an array of onboard sensors.

In terms of pricing, the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus price in India starts at Rs 83,999 for the base 11th-generation Intel Core i3 CPU model coupled with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It goes up to Rs 2,58,499 for the model with 11th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU paired with 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD storage. The Microsoft Surface Hub 2S 85’s price in the country is set at Rs 21,44,999. The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus for Business runs on Windows 10 Pro and comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a 2736×1824 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It has a 10-point multi-touch with a 267ppi pixel density. The Surface Pro 7 Plus is powered by up to 11th-generation Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor for the Wi-Fi model, while the LTE variant comes with an 11th Generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 CPU. The Intel Core i3 model of the Surface Pro 7 Plus comes with Intel UHD Graphics, and the Core i5 and Core i7 models come with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The Wi-Fi variant offers up to 32GB of RAM whereas, the LTE option maxes out at 16GB RAM. In terms of storage, the Wi-Fi model of the Surface Pro 7 Plus comes with up to 1TB of removable SSD storage and the LTE model comes with up to 256GB of removable SSD storage. There is also an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with 1080p full-HD video capability and a 5-megapixel front camera with 1080p recording.

With the Surface Pro 7 Plus, Microsoft has introduced a removable SSD solution for data retention purposes. Microsoft says that the new solution has been put in place to support the security and privacy needs of business and educational organisations. Connectivity option on the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card reader. The LTE version of the Surface Pro 7+ also has a SIM card slot.

In contrast, the Microsoft Surface Hub 2S 85-inch has a 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) PixelSense Display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and In-cell Touch with 20 simultaneous touchpoints. It is powered by the 8th-Generation quad-core Intel Core i5 CPU, Intel UHD Graphics 620, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD. Connectivity options include USB Type-A, mini-DisplayPort, HDMI, USB Type-C with DisplayPort, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, three more USB Type-C ports, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0. Other notable features include 3-way stereo speakers, USB-C connectivity, and 90-degree horizontal field of view (HFOV).
