Here is a comparison of what the two new flagship smartphones by OnePlus and Honor have to offer.

Chinse smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has launched its latest smartphone OnePlus 6 in India. The new launch comes a day after the latest OnePlus flagship was officially unveiled in London. The OnePlus 6 (64GB) comes with a starting price of Rs 34,999, while the OnePlus 6 8GB RAM, 128GB storage version will be available for Rs 39,999. OnePlus 6 will directly compete with the recently launched smartphone by Huawei sub-brand Honor i.e Honor 10. The device has been priced at Rs 32,999 in India and will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting May 16. Here's a specifications comparison between the new Honor 10 and the latest OnePlus 6 to find what all the new flagship smartphones have to offer.

OnePlus 6 Specifications:

The OnePlus 6 features a notched 6.28-inch full HD+ (2280 x 1080) display, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The OnePlus 6 is the first official smartphone in India to get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that has a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. This is what makes the OnePlus 6 a super fast smartphone as well. Along with the flagship Qualcomm processor, the OnePlus 6 comes backed its two RAM options of 6GB and 8GB and storage variants of 64GB, 128GB and 256 GB. This combination depends on the variant that you will choose.

On the optics front the OnePlus 6 sports a dual-camera module as its primary camera with one sensor of 16-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture and a supported camera module of 20-megapixel. The 16-megapixel camera now comes with Optical Image Stabilisation and EIS. The camera is also now capable of shooting 4K videos at 60 FPS. There is, of course, a portrait mode on the OnePlus 6 with advanced HDR capabilities as well. The front camera of the OnePlus 6 is also a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture and EIS enabled for stable selfies.

OnePlus 6 does retain the Face Unlock feature and the fingerprint sensor of the OnePlus 5T and a similar 3300 mAh battery with DASH charging support. The OnePlus 6 runs on OxygenOS based Android 8.1. There is also OnePlus’ signature Alert Slider on the device but the position of this alert slider that switches the phone between silent, vibrate and ring mode has moved from the left edge of the device to the right on the OnePlus 6.

Honor 10 Specifications:

As for its specifications, the Honor 10 sports an Aurora Glass Design with an Aluminum frame carrying a 5.84-inch FullView FHD display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 432 ppi. It is powered by Huawei's own HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core SoC and carries a 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The device is backed by a 3400 mAh battery.

Honor has showcased the Honor 10 as a camera-centric smartphone that comes with a dual camera setup at the back and Honor's own AI 2.0 The device features AI 2.0 for better portraits and face detection. The AI-powered setup includes a 24-megapixel lens coupled with a 16-megapixel lens for depth effect and 22 real-time scene and object recognition. At the front, the Honor 10 carries an AI-powered 24-megapixel selfie shooter with a f/2.0 aperture.

The Honor 10 weighs 153 grams and measures 149.6x71.2x7.7 mm. Connectivity options on the Honor 10 include Dual SIM support, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port and NFC.
