The Chinese electronic manufacturer TCL officially launched the new TCL 560 smartphone in India priced at Rs 7,999. The TCL 560 main USP is its iris scanner on the front for unlocking the device. TCL has been making smartphones under the Alcatel brand name, which has managed to get good traction in few markets in India and globally.
The TCL 560 sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and a pixel density of 320 ppi. At its heart its powered by a 32-bit Quad-core processor backed by 2GB of RAM. The device will run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and sport a 8 megapixel rear camera along with a 5 megapixel selfie camera. The device comes with an Iris Scanner, which the company calls EyeVerify. It unlocks the phone by scanning your eyes.
