Salman Khan is all set for the upcoming season of the reality show, Bigg Boss. The 18th season will premiere on October 6. The superstar has been hosting Bigg Boss for over a decade now, and fans love watching him take jabs at the contestants during the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. There have also been numerous occasions when the Dabangg actor has lost his cool with the participants on the show.
One memorable incident occurred during Bigg Boss Season 15 when Salman Khan lashed out at contestant, actress Shamita Shetty. This confrontation happened in an episode featuring Raveena Tandon as a special guest.
In the episode, the Dulhe Raja actress entered the Bigg Boss house and asked the contestants to identify the culprit. Rashmi Desai nominated Abhijeet Bichukale, accusing him of disrespecting Shamita. In his defence, Abhijit recalled how Shamita mocked him. He said, “Jo ladki dichukale pichukale bolti hai mere ko, mai usko per ki juti par rakhta hu (The girl who says ‘dichukale pichukale’ to me, I consider her no more than the dust under my shoes).”
The situation escalated to the point where Salman Khan, visibly angry, urged the contestants to calm down before confronting Shamita Shetty. In her defence, the actress said, “This is wrong Salman. I have not come here to get insulted.”
Salman disagreed and clarified that Abhijeet had not used any curse words against Shamita. Despite his explanation, Shamita remained adamant about her stance and even threatened to leave the show. She said, “I am not in the state to be in this house with a man like this.”
After that, Salman Khan questioned Shamita Shetty’s behaviour towards Abhijeet. The host asked, “Can’t you see the way you provoked him?”. He further added, “Uske bulaane se aap ho jaate ho kya? Jo aapne kaha ki ye yahan par kyu aaya hai. That is not right, Shamita. (Do you become what he calls you? What you said about why this person is here, that’s not right, Shamita).”
Bigg Boss Season 15 Season featured many celebrities like Karan Kundrra, Jay Bhanushali, Vishal Kotian, Miesha Iyer, Simmba Nagpal and Afsana Khan. Actress Tejasswi Prakash lifted the trophy of Bigg Boss Season 15.
Meanwhile, talking about Bigg Boss 18, the upcoming season will premiere on October 6 on Colors TV.
