Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 kicked off with a bang, as it brought drama right from the start. The first weekend’s episodes featured intense conflicts, especially between Asim Riaz, Shalin Bhanot and Abhishek Kumar. While Bhanot chose to step back from the heated argument, the clash between Riaz and Kumar reached extreme levels. The two contestants were seen insulting each other, Riaz even mocked Kumar for trying to imitate him. It seems like his accusation came from a past incident where Salman Khan, during Bigg Boss 17, called Kumar, duplicate of Riaz. For those not aware, Khan was furious with the Udaariyan star when he had called Mannara Chopra, a duplicate of Parineeti Chopra, which led to the Bollywood star comparing Kumar’s gameplay with former BB13 runner up.
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Chopra had shared that she gets triggered when someone involves her family in arguments, particularly her connection with Parineeti. In response, Khan called out Kumar in front of everyone for his harsh comment. During the discussion, Kumar even attempted to defend his comment by saying he only meant Mannara looks like Chopra. However, Khan clarified that Kumar had actually used the term ‘duplicate,’ which he feels was disrespectful.
Reprimating Abhishek Kumar, Salman Khan said, “You’ve seen the whole show, saw Gautam Gulati, Karan Kundrra and Asim Riaz. So, according to that, you’re a duplicate of these people. Maybe you’re my fan, but don’t behave like me. Is this behaviour of yours in this house inspired by Tere Naam? That was a movie, in real life you’ll get hurt and you’ll end up hurting yourself.”
In the second episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Asim Riaz clashed with Sumona Chakravarti, but things escalated further when Abhishek Kumar stepped in and spoke about failing to perform the stunt, causing Riaz to lose his temper. Riaz further insisted that the stunt was too difficult to perform and challenged the crew. Host Rohit Shetty wasn’t pleased with his comments and showed a video of a stuntman successfully performing the same stunt during rehearsal.
Later, when Shetty spoke about Riaz’s wild behaviour and other contestants got involved, Riaz became agitated and lashed out at everyone. Following heated arguments with both the crew and fellow contestants, Riaz was seen leaving the set and the host announced that he would no longer be part of the show.
