We all love being in our houses as it is our comforting place. We can be ourselves in our most comfy clothes, while relishing our favourite home-cooked meals in our houses. In an unusual circumstance, a family of eight in China left their house to live in a luxury hotel which they found more comforting. The Chinese family is making waves on social media for its unconventional lifestyle choice. They have been staying in a luxury hotel for the past 229 days. According to the South China Morning Post, the Chinese family has been staying at a hotel in the city of Nanyang. They are paying 1,000 yuan (Rs 11,000 approximately) per day for their stay. Sharing a suite with a living room and two twin rooms, the family does not pay extra charges for electricity, water, parking, or heating, as the prices of these rooms and suites are all-inclusive. Given the comfort and luxury of the hotel, the family does not want to leave their unconventional idea of living in the hotel anytime soon.

Recently, a video was shared on social media which displayed the family members standing in a room. The room had a sofa, TV, and chairs, including daily supplies like clothes, food, and water.

Mu Xue, one of the family members, said in an interview, ”Today is the 229th day of our stay at the hotel. The room costs 1,000 yuan per day. Our family of eight live very well. We feel happy living here, so we plan to live in a hotel for the rest of our lives.” The hotel is reported to have given them a special rate for long-term rentals.

In another video, Mu, while speaking to Star Video, informed, ”I never thought this way of living would help save money. I just feel that it makes everything convenient. We feel happy living here, so we plan to live in a hotel for the rest of our lives.”

Internet users were fascinated to see the living arrangement of the Chinese family, while others found it quite ridiculous.
