In a recent update, news of a man falling in love with a dolphin has sparked curiosity and garnered public attention. In a bizarre note, an animal lover has made a shocking claim. He revealed that he had fallen in love with a dolphin in his youth and he was about to give up his life when he was separated. The man named Malcolm, who is now a retired pensioner, claims he had a 9-month-long relationship with the dolphin named Dolly, when he was young. He went into depression when he was separated from the dolphin after its death. The man was depressed for 5 years. Malcolm began this unusual relationship with a bottlenose dolphin in the 1970s. He has also written a novel, Wet Goddess, which narrates the story of a young man who forms a bond with a dolphin while working at a theme park.

The strangest thing is that Malcolm openly admits that the book is autobiographical and heavily influenced by his own experiences. He said, this book is dedicated to dolphins because he feels that they are being mistreated by keeping them in captivity.

Malcolm alleges that he was in his early 20s when he began his relationship with Dolly. As a passionate photographer, he was allowed to take photos in the pool at a former theme park in Sarasota Florida where he lived. During the swimming session, he formed a close relationship with Dolly.

The man also added that he was given free access to the dolphin and became her friend by swimming with her. He also mentioned that she was really special to him. He also continued that, initially he discouraged her as he was not interested. After a while, he questioned himself, if the dolphin were a woman, would he be making the same arguments and excuses.

He also added that it was supernatural after falling in love with the dolphin. Nine months after his relationship with the dolphin, the park closed and he was relocated to somewhere else which led him into depression. The man also claimed that, according to him, it was like a relationship because when the dolphin died, he felt devastated and fell into depression and was not able to overcome it for 5 long years.
