A makeover undoubtedly boosts the self-confidence of any person and a recent viral clip on Instagram proves this right. The video shows a man, properly groomed with well-styled hair wearing sunglasses. It is followed by an elderly person with an almost bald head and a white beard. A stylist accompanies this man to his salon.
We can see the stylist doing the makeover of this elderly man by applying cream, brushes, and cutting his hair. It is unbelievable to see this old person looking like an entirely different man with a makeover. The makeup artist then applies the finishing touches to this man’s white beard making him appear younger. The elderly man is brimming with confidence and smiles as he faces the camera. The text overlay on the video reads, “Beautyparlour mein ab ladke 65 se 35 jaisa (Boys in Beauty Parlour From 65 to 35”). This clip has garnered more than 10 million views.
Social media users were left surprised after watching the clip and one of them commented that no one is ugly, they are just poor. Another one asked about the cost of makeup because he wanted to gift this look to his father. However, some users realised the trick behind this video and commented that the person before and after the makeup are 2 different individuals. Users pointed out the saggy skin and the wrinkles around the old man’s neck which are not visible on the man after the makeup. It couldn’t be confirmed.
A similar clip of a makeover surfaced on Instagram where a man comes to the salon to get a haircut. Even though he has long hair, there are many bald patches visible on his head. He revealed that he has been growing his hair since the time of the pandemic. However, now he wants a better haircut. The man also revealed that this was the first time he had come to the shop. The barber told him that he would give him a good haircut.
The barber added that he would cut them short and give him a look as per the hair growth. Once the transformation is done, the man himself can’t recognise his look as his hair is completely changed. Social media users praised the barber’s skills.
