The princess, belonging to a Norwegian royal family stated that she was haunted by a ghost every night. The ghost was not visible to anyone else. Decades later, she found out that the ghost was a Nazi general who had committed suicide in her bedroom.

People believe if a person dies an unusual death, like suicide, his ghost haunts or threatens people later on. There is a similar story of Princess Martha Louise, daughter of King Harald of Norway, connected to an event in history. The princess, Martha, was threatened by the ghost f a Nazi general who shot himself in the princess’s bedroom.

On the Modern Royalty podcast, 52-year-old Martha Louise recalled the horrific incident when the ghost of the soldier tried to strangle her.

It has been revealed that Waffen SS General Wilhelm Radice lived in the royal family’s Skaugum fortress during the German occupation of Norway during the Second World War. After Norway was defeated by the Nazis on May 28, 1945, he committed suicide by shooting himself.

Martha claimed that the soldier’s ghost haunted her for many years when she was a teenager. She also claimed that every night the former general would come to her bedroom and stare at her. During her podcast with the Modern Royalty’, she claimed that, when she came into this room, she used to get scared of the dark. A man used to stare at her all the time.

She further claimed that she informed about this incident to everyone including her parents and grandmother. They would look behind the curtains, pull them back and say “Look, there’s no one behind the curtain. There is no one here”. Martha also revealed that she was unaware of the whole truth about her exorcism. Decades later her father, now King Harald V, found out the disturbing incident related to the room.

While talking to her father regarding the supernatural incident, her father revealed that there is a disturbing past linked with this room. A Nazi general had taken his life in this room. The soldier, that is Radice, who used to lead a luxurious life after the invasion of 1940, was Hitler’s right-hand man, later leaping up into the rank of a general. He was reportedly found dead on a sofa, which later became the Norwegian princess’s bedroom when she was 14 years old.
