For years, Shaan has enthralled audiences with his soulful voice. The celebrated playback singer is recognised for innumerable chartbusters such as ‘Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh’ and ‘Chaand Sifarish’. But did you know Shaan’s son is also a singer? A recent video of the father-son duo singing together has left people smiling. The video features the singer with his son Maahi and people couldn’t refrain from emphasising on how he resembles his father.

Radio Nasha shared the clip on Instagram and announced that Shaan would join the organisation as an RJ. “We live for these wholesome moments @singer_shaan @maahiforyou @singer_shaan joining our clan of extremely talented RJs !!” the caption of the post read.

The video opens to show Maahi singing the classic Kishore Kumar song ‘Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein’. A text overlay on the clip reads, “1st time ever singer Shaan with his son Maahi.” Soon, the father joins him and continues singing the melodious song.

Social media users were quick to react to the soothing performance at the launch of the show. So far, the video has garnered more than 1 million views.

Notably, the video caught the attention of music legend Shankar Mahadevan. The Grammy-winning singer and composer noted, “So amazing ! Am so thrilled to see this.”

A user said, “My gosh they look sooooo alike. Love them.” Another mentioned, “The smile goes to father.” A person jokingly wrote, “They look more like brothers than father and son.” One of the comments also highlighted, “Oh my god Shaan! He is your duplicate.”
