If you use social media, you’ve probably come across Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, a self-proclaimed Pakistani “singer”. Well-known for his cringe music videos, he recently became viral on the internet with his song Bado Badi. With over 28 million views in only one month, the song—a version of the iconic Noor Jehan song Akh Lari Bado Badi—became extremely popular. According to some reports, the video has been removed from YouTube owing to copyright issues.

According to Times Now, Khan’s popular song was removed from YouTube on June 6. The song was taken down because of a copyright infringement issue after it was uploaded on his official channel last month. The melody and composition, which allegedly mimics Noor Jehan’s rendition from the 1973 film Banarsi Thug, are at the centre of the copyright dispute.

The music video, which starred model Wajdhan Rao Ranghar, became popular on social media and inspired several content creators to create memes.

With millions of reels accessible on YouTube and Instagram Shorts, the song Aankh Ladi Bado Badi is currently one of the most utilised on social media.

According to Indian Express, Ranghar said in a recent interview that the song was ruining her career. She reportedly recorded the song due to “desperation.”

Wajdhan Rao Ranghar claimed that she was being ridiculed and that people were questioning why she agreed to be included in this song.

She said, “It’s better than stealing,” since she didn’t have enough money to buy clothes for Eid.
