Bouzy, known for promoting conspiracy theories about the British Royals, suggested that Kate’s illness was staged, comparing it to North Korean propaganda. Bouzy fought back claims made by The Sun report. “WOW! My tweet had nothing to do with her cancer diagnosis,” he wrote on X.

Omid Scobie, another associate of the Sussexes, faced backlash for a tasteless post featuring an alarm set for the time Kate made her cancer statement. According to the British newspaper, Scobie later deleted the post, stating that it was meant to alert followers to a pending announcement from the Palace and not intended to cause speculation.
