Florida: A 23-year-old student from Hyderabad was allegedly shot dead by unidentified men in Florida, United States. The deceased student has been identified as Sai Kiran and he was finishing his Engineering degree in Florida.
Kiran was speaking on the phone with a friend in India when some unidentified men demanded his phone. A fight broke out followed by firing.
His friend on the other side of the phone heard gunshots fired at Kiran.
Kiran's father said, "He had gone down from his apartment, these people came, he didn't give them his iPhone so they shot him."
Shocked by the incident, his uncle said, "Today, I'm telling you, I am stunned by the incident. Before this, he never told us about any similar incident. Neither did he tell us, and even when he asked him. He said all that doesn't happen in the state he stays in. We will ask the state government for assistance, will ask the KCR government for help."
