Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI: Athiya Shetty and Rana Daggubati Sizzle in Shivan & Narresh's Resort-Wear
Athiya Shetty and Rana Daggubati, graced the runway to display the latest collections of designer duo Shivan & Narresh on the third day of the 2023 Lakme Fashion Week organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Shivan & Narresh’s fresh resort-wear collection takes its inspiration from the Suomi Series, which was born during the designers’ recent trip to Finland. Their immersive exploration of Suomi culture led to the creation of five distinctive prints.
Athiya Shetty opened the show for Shivan & Narresh, while Rana Daggubati had the role of closing it. Shetty donned a stylish ensemble, featuring a bustier top paired with a high-waisted skirt, whereas Daggubati, the showstopper, rocked a printed jumper, a mesh see-through shirt, and black baggy pants designed by the duo. Both stars completed their looks with Birkenstock sandals, the trendy footwear that’s been making waves across the internet, making their outfits perfect for your next tropical getaway.
Athiya Shetty’s runway attire showcased a striking black bralette top, delicate spaghetti straps, a snug bust fit, an alluring open-back design, and a stylish cropped hem. Complementing the top, she paired it with a high-waisted skirt in shades of mauve and lavender ombre. This skirt was elegantly affixed to the top and featured a gathered silhouette, a side slit, an asymmetric hem, and an airy, flowing design. To complete the look, statement gold earrings, parted open hair locks, vibrant fuchsia lips, and a radiant, dewy makeup application added the perfect finishing touches.
