When it came to scooters at the 2018 Auto Expo, Aprilia made sure they have something that catches everyone’s eye. They did so with the launch of the new Aprilia SR 125 scooter in India which has been priced at Rs 65,310 (ex-showroom, Pune). The scooter, which is now available across all Aprilia and Vespa dealerships in India, is the younger sibling to the Aprilia SR 150 scooter.
The elder sibling has managed to make a mark for itself in the industry as being one of the sportiest scooters one can buy with a budget of up to Rs 1 lakh in India and Aprilia aims to bag on that success and take it forward with the SR 125. In order to do so, they’ve kept the scooter largely similar to the SR 150 in terms of looks and the 125cc engine on the SR 125 promises to maintain the peppiness that the SR scooters by Aprilia are known for as it is claimed to deliver a sizeable 10 Nm of torque.
