The luxury bike manufacturer in Indi BMW has finally kickstarted the delivery of its most premium bike M 1000 RR. It was launched in June this year at a starting price of Rs 49.00 lakh. While the top-end model M 1000 RR Competition was introduced with a price tag of Rs 55.00 lakh. To note, all the mentioned prices are ex-showroom, and might fluctuate a bit, depending upon cities and states.
Ever since it was dropped in the Indian market, it received a positive response from both customers and critics. Shortly after the launch, the company started taking official bookings for the same, allowing the target audience to pre-book the sports bike from an authorized dealership or online via the official site.

The completely built-up unit (CBU) is equipped with cutting-edge technology and is capable of offering insane performance. The sole purpose of developing this bike is to allow the customers to feel the adrenaline rush while going crazy with the throttle.

The newly launched M 1000 RR flaunts an aggressive style statement, and has a perfect head-turning road appearance. It comes with a sweet touch of carbon fibre, mostly covering the fairing. It also offers new aero-optimized winglets, which allows the machine to have a better downforce, better than before.
Mechanics
The vehicle runs on forged or M Carbon wheels, featuring 320mm disc brakes at the front, while the rear has been treated with a single 220mm unit with dual-channel ABS. Going further deep inside the technical part, the M 1000 RR is comprised of USD front forks and the rear has been treated with a mono-shock with preload adjustability.
Engine and Power
On the powertrain front, the performance-oriented bike, which was used in Indian MotoGP this year, is powered by a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine. The unit generates a max power of 209 BHP at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm, which is insane for the Indian roads. The bike can do 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 314 km/h.
