Kabira Mobility's KM3000, KM4000 Electric Bikes Receive Over 6,000 Bookings in Just 4 Days
Kabira Mobility received a huge response as the production of the first batch was sold out. It had to temporarily suspend the bookings on February 28.

Kabira Mobility, which is a Goa-based electric mobility startup has received a tremendous response for its first products i.e. KM3000 and KM4000. Just within a few days of the launch, both the high speed electric bikes have registered over 6,000 bookings. Most of the bookings were made from Goa, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The company launched the electric bikes on February 16 while the bookings commenced on February 25. According to reports, within four days of the launch, the company received a huge response as the production of the first batch was sold out. It had to temporarily suspend the bookings on February 28.

Kabira Mobility has not yet announced the dates for the second batch of the electric bikes but is expected to be announced soon. Those who have made a booking for the bikes can note that the deliveries of the KM3000 and the KM4000 will start from May 1, 2021, in selected cities across India. The company is planning to increase its production capacity witnessing a rise in its demand also it is aiming to expand its dealership network in Tier I and II cities.

Here are a few things you need to know about the bikes:

Battery: According to the company, both the electric bikes can be charged in two modes namely Eco and Boost. Giving further details it said that the battery can run for six-and-a-half hours in the Eco mode whereas 80 per cent charge can be achieved in 50 minutes in the Boost mode. Also, the battery pack is fireproof. Both the electric motorcycles can achieve a top speed of 120 kmph and have a riding range of 150km on a single charge.Also the bikes i.e. KM3000 and KM4000 are provided with a 6kW motor and 8kW motor respectively.

Design: KM3000's design is inspired by a sports bike Kawasaki Ninja 300 while based on Kawasaki Z1000, KM4000 is designed.

Features: Kabira Mobility has provided features like a combined braking system, onboard fast chargers and park assist to both of its electric bikes.

Price: The KM3000 comes with a price tag of Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Goa) while the KM4000 is available for Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Goa).
