As per the latest reports, it has been confirmed that Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi, the beloved pair from Alphonse Putren’s Premam, are set to reunite on screen after eight years. The duo, known for their roles as George and Miss Maler in Premam, will be seen together in their upcoming film, titled Thaaram. Fans are eagerly anticipating the reunion of this popular on-screen pair. Details about their upcoming film together will be revealed soon.
Vinay Govind will be directing the film. Vivek Ranjith will be responsible for the screenplay of the movie. This collaboration marks their third project together following Kili Poi and Kohinoor. The cast also includes Vinay Fort, Nikhila Vimal, Kayadu Lohar, Krishna Shankar, and Namitha Krishnamurthy in important roles.
Produced by Listyn Stephen and Polly Junior Pictures under the Magic Frames banner, the film Thaaram, featuring Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi, is reported to be set in the scenic backdrop of Manali. The film will grace the cinema halls on 16 Dec 2024.
Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi’s 2015 release was a huge hit at the box office. Directed by Alphonse Puthren, the film stars Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, and Shabareesh Varma in significant roles. With music composed by Rajesh Murugesan, the cinematography of the film was handled by Anend C Chandran.
Reportedly, Nivin Pauly shared in a recent interview that he is set to collaborate with director Vineeth in his two upcoming films. The first project is the highly anticipated Varshangalkku Shesham, featuring the Hridayam pair, Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan. Additionally, the second movie is expected to have superstar Mohanlal in a leading role.
Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi, who made her acting debut in 2008 with the Tamil film Dham Dhoom, recently declined an offer to star in the Lawrence-starrer Chandramukhi 2. The actress was approached for a role originally played by Kangana Ranaut.
The actress has a few projects, including Thandel, D51, Ramayana, SK21, and Pushpa: The Rule- Part 2, lined up.
Nivin Pauly will appear next in Gauri, NP43, Action Hero Biju 2, Dear Students, Bismi Special, and others.
