Doctor turned actor Arjun Dwivedi who was last seen in blockbuster Gadar 2, Nikhil Advani’s Rocket Boys 2 on SonyLIV, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War and Ajay Devgn’s Baadshaho, is currently seen in Rohit Shetty’s “Indian Police Force”, starring alongside Shilpa Shetty, Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. The series is streaming on Amazon Prime.
The actor gets candid about his role, working experience in Indian Police Force and how he transitioned from a dentist to an actor.
Giving insights about his role, he mentioned, “In Indian Police Force, I play the Bangladesh Intelligence Head who clashes with the Indian police team in a high-octane Rohit Shetty-style climax set in Bangladesh. This was a dream come true, not just because of the thrilling role, but because it meant working with Rohit Shetty himself – a director I’ve always admired. My performance caught his eye, and that’s how I landed in Rohit Shetty Pictures and Indian Police Force.”
Describing his working experience with co actors Shilpa Shetty ad Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun says, “It was an absolute blast working alongside Shilpa Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra in Indian Police Force! Beyond the electrifying action and gripping storyline, we shared a special bond forged in the fires of the gym.”
He further adds, “Shilpa and I, united by our passion for fitness, became gym buddies during filming. In between intense shoot schedules, we’d hit the gym, pushing each other to new limits. Shilpa’s vibrant energy was infectious – her smile and laughter a constant source of positivity on set. Sidharth, with his disarming humility and sweetness, was a pillar of support, especially during our action-packed Bangladesh sequence. He brought his A-game to every scene, and his dedication was truly inspiring.”
Sharing about how he transitioned from being a dentist to a bollywood actor, he stated, “Growing up in a medical environment with a doctor father, education was always paramount for me. However, from my school days, a vibrant passion for acting and public speaking took root through my active participation in school plays. This passion blossomed during my dental college years, where I earned the title of “most popular actor” in both school and college productions. My extracurricular pursuits extended beyond the stage, as I joined Akashwani radio and began acting in regional television shows. Even during my house job, I managed to squeeze in a few telefilms. It was then that the legendary Dilip Kumar spotted my talent and cast me in a television show produced by his home production banner. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of my journey into the world of Bollywood.”
