How to Tie Lanvin Sneakers

Lacing Lanvin Sneakers

Pull the thin lace through the horizontal loop on the toe box. Pull it through until you have an equal amount of lace on either side of the loop.

Thread each end of the thin lace through the 2 bottom eyelets. Cross the left end of the lace across the shoe to the bottom right eyelet, poke it through the outside of the eyelet, and pull it in towards the tongue. Repeat with the right end of the lace on the bottom left eyelet.

Push each end through the 2 middle eyelets. Cross the first end you laced back over the shoe and push it through the left middle eyelet, outside in. Repeat with the second end on the right middle eyelet.

Feed each end through the horizontal loop on the shoe's tongue. The second horizontal loop is on the tongue of the shoe, right underneath the Lanvin label. Thread each end of the lace through it.

Thread the ends of the lace through the top 2 eyelets. Lace the first end through the top right eyelet. Push it into the eyelet from the outside, the same way you did it with the other eyelets. Then lace the second end through the top left eyelet. Once again, feed the lace end in from the outside.

Tie the ends of the thin lace together in a bow across the tongue. Cross one end of the lace over the other, then tuck it back underneath to form a circle and pull it tight. Next, tie a basic bow by folding either end of the lace into "bunny ear" loops and tying them together twice to form a sturdy knot.

Push the ends of the thick lace through the 2 steel hoops at the bottom. Feed the left end of the thick lace through the outside of the steel hoop on the bottom left side of the sneaker. Then, pull it through. Repeat with the right end of the thick lace on the bottom right steel hoop.

Cross each end over the shoe and feed them through the second hoops. Pick up the left end of the thick lace, cross it over the center of the shoe, and feed it through the outside of the second steel hoop from the bottom on the right side. Do the same thing with the right end of the lace with the second steel hoop on the left side of the shoe.

Lace the shoe through the rest of the hoops in the crisscross pattern. When you get to the last set of steel hoops, you may want to leave these unlaced. This way, you'll be able to see the tongue of the shoe (and therefore the brand name) better. Plus, you'll have more lace to tie into a bow or a knot. The tongue is one of the most important parts of a Lanvin Curb sneaker because it helps you tell the difference between a real and a fake pair!

Tying a Bow on Lanvin Sneakers

Leave the ends of the thick lace out of the top 2 steel hoops. This will expose the tongue and the label, and give you more room to tie a bow.

Tie the ends of the thick lace into a bow. Cross one end of the thick lace over the other, then tuck it underneath and pull it out to form a loose tie. Next, flatten the ends and form them into loops. Tie the loops together and pull them out to form a bow.

Rotate the bow around and flatten the lace ends. To get that signature Lanvin bow look, rotate the bow so that the ends of the lace sit flat across the shoe. The bow loops will also look flatter after you turn it.

Tying a Knot on Lanvin Sneakers

Thread the thick lace through all sets of steel hoops. Unlike with the bow style of tie, the knot looks best if you lace your Lanvins all the way up. This means the tongue will be covered, but it also means the tie will look smaller and neater, with less extra lace hanging off the sides.

Tie the thick lace in a knot. Wrap one end of the thick lace around the other to form a circle, then tie it again. When you're done, you'll have a thick knot sitting on the top of your Lanvin sneaker!

Loosely Tying Lanvin Sneakers

Lace the shoes all the way up and loosely tie the ends of the thick lace. Cross one end of the thick lace under the other and pull it through. Then, lay the ends flat on the shoe. This tie is a simple way to emphasize the signature Lanvin lacing look even more!
