Virat Kohli has leased a total of 12 office spaces in the Reach Comercia corporate tower located in sector 68 of Gurugram.

In a recent development, cricketer Virat Kohli has reportedly leased out 18,430 square feet of office space in Gurugram to the corporate firm Mynd Integrated Solutions. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm, the annual rental for this space amounts to Rs 1.27 crore.

According to documents cited by Moneycontrol, cricketer Virat Kohli has leased a total of 12 office spaces, with a combined built-up area of 18,430 square feet, in the Reach Comercia corporate tower located in sector 68 of Gurugram. The deal was finalised at a monthly rental of approximately Rs 8.85 lakh per month.

The transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 3.83 lakh, along with registration fees of Rs 50,010. The lessee, Mynd Integrated Solutions Pvt Ltd, is a Delhi-based firm. Notably, the deal was facilitated through Vikas Kohli, the registered General Power of Attorney (GPA) holder for RCB star player Virat Kohli, who is also his brother.

Although the stamp-duty registration for the transaction took place on June 22, 2023, the documents about the deal were not made accessible until March 2024.

According to the documents, the initial monthly rent per square foot for the deal is Rs 48, with a security deposit of Rs 57.19 lakh. Additionally, the office spaces are accompanied by 37 parking slots, as indicated in the documents.

The lease spans nine years, beginning from March 28, 2023. Furthermore, rental payments for the deal commenced on July 1, 2023.

Documents indicate that under the terms of the agreement, there will be a yearly rent escalation of five percent, while the common area maintenance charges amount to Rs 14 per square foot per month.

Recent big-ticket deals

In recent times, the Delhi NCR region, including Gurugram, has experienced numerous significant property acquisitions. In January 2024, Smiti Agarwal, a director at Wesbok Lifestyle Pvt Ltd and the spouse of V Bazaar CMD Hemant Agarwal, acquired an apartment in The Camellias by DLF in Gurugram for a sum of Rs 95 crore.

In February 2023, Vasudha Rohatgi, the wife of former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi, acquired a bungalow spanning 2,100 square yards (approximately 18,900 square feet) in the upscale area of Golf Links in Delhi, for Rs 160 crore. Later, in October 2023, an 11,000 square foot apartment at The Camellias by DLF in Gurugram’s Golf Course Road fetched over Rs 100 crore in a resale transaction.
