2 Wins & 17 Defeats; Last Triumph In 1988: New Zealand's Test Record In India
Ahead of the start of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand, here's a look at the Kiwis record in 36 Tests played so far on Indian soil.

The New Zealand men’s cricket team has landed in India to face the Rohit Sharma-led side in a three-match Test series that starts on Wednesday (October 16). The series opener is scheduled to take place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, and the next two matches will be played in Pune (October 24-28) and Mumbai (November 1-5).

After getting whitewashed by Sri Lanka in the two-match series last month, Kiwis would like to come up with a big show in the upcoming three matches against India and secure their first-ever series win on Indian soil. However, it won’t be an easy task because the Indian team is in red-hot form these days and will be eager to whitewash the Kiwis so that they can all but confirm their place in the World Test Championship (WTC) final at Lord’s next year.
