The Indian team look all set ahead for the T20I series against Bangladesh which is set to start on Sunday with the first game being played in Gwalior.
In a video uploaded by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), several players from the squad were seen sweating it out during the training session held yesterday. The members of the 15-man squad looked like they were ready for the upcoming games.
All eyes will be on the skipper Suryakumar Yadav who will lead the T20I side once again. It will be interesting to see the kind of players he deploys to start the series opener.

The captain had already confirmed that Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma would open the batting for the first game against the Bangladesh side. It remains to be seen what kind of bowling attack he would use as well.
Among the pacers, many will be eager to see the fast-bowling sensation Mayank Yadav in Team India colours after his stellar show for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL. While his season was cut short, he has made a full recovery followed by a maiden India call-up. With his speed hitting the 150 kph mark on a consistent level, he seems to be the next big thing when it comes to fast bowling in India.
Another pacer that seems to be one for the future is another Delhi-based quick, Harshit Rana who had a breakout campaign in the Indian Premier League 2024 season representing the Kolkata Knight Riders. While he can clock 140 kph regularly, he also has many variations in his arsenal which made him a big threat in the recently concluded season.
The return of Varun Chakravarthy to the side will also be one to watch. He played his last game for the Indian team against Scotland in the Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021. With form on his side, he would hope he can put in performances regularly to cement his spot in the side.
While several young stars could get their first international cap, it would not bode well for their respective franchise owners in the IPL as they would hope that their players remain uncapped until deadline day so they can keep hold of the talents at a cheaper price.
