Two students of Engineering Technology at Lucknow University, Diwakar Prasad and Kamaya Kriti, have bagged prestigious jobs in nationalised banks. The news is currently garnering everyone’s attention. One of the students has been selected for the job on a package of Rs 14 lakh. This is considered to be the biggest package from Lucknow University this year. A faculty member of Lucknow University, Dr Himanshu Pandey, shared that Diwakar Prasad – a BTech student of the 2022 batch – passed the IBPS exam and got selected for the post of Deputy Manager (PO) in the Bank of Maharashtra and showed his ability. He has a package of Rs 14 lakh.
Kamya Kirti, a BTech student who is also from the 2022 batch, has also shown her talent by passing the IBPS exam and getting selected for the post of Customer Service Associate at Indian Bank. She has a package of Rs 6 lakh.
Diwakar Prasad shared in an interview that his result came on May 1. But the joining letter was received a few days ago, in which he got a package of 14 lakh from the Bank of Maharashtra. He has joined his workplace now. Diwakar Prasad is a resident of Lucknow. His father is an officer in the NTPC, and his mother is a social worker. His sister does a job in the private sector.
Diwakar also said that he started BTech in Electronics from Lucknow University in 2017; his course was completed in 2021; and since then, he has been preparing for IBPS to join the bank. After failing in the first attempt, he has now secured the post of PO in the second attempt. Sharing about his preparation for the exam, he added that he used to study with full dedication. Before the exams, he used to study for about 10 hours, and after this continuous handwork, he was able to achieve this success.
Earlier, Yasir Mohammad, a Btech student at Lovely Professional University (LPU), created a new placement record by grabbing a job offer with a Rs 3 crore package. The computer science engineering student, who was a resident of Kerala, got selected for a world-renowned multinational German company.
According to reports, it’s not only Yasir who has gotten such an offer, but thousands of LPU students are also working at 1 crore and above packages in companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes, and other Fortune 500 companies across the globe.
