The Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) commenced the online registration process for the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) 2024. According to the schedule, the application process will close on April 11. Candidates can apply for the BITSAT 2024 exam by visiting the official website at bitsadmission.com.
Once the application process closes, candidates will be able to edit their application forms from April 15 to April 19. The admission test is held in two sessions. The BITSAT 2024 exams are scheduled to be conducted from May 21 to May 26, 2024 (for Session 1) and from June 22 to June 26, (for Session 2). Those interested can appear in one or both sessions.
BITSAT 2024 (Session 1): Eligibility Criteria
Those applying must have received a minimum of 75 per cent in subjects like – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. In addition, Biology should be a prime subject for BPharm applicants, while mathematics must be a subject for BE candidates.
BITSAT 2024 (Session 1): Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website of BITS Pilani at bitsadmission.com.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click the ‘BITSAT 2024 Session 1’ link.
Step 3: Register yourself, then fill out the application form – (first enter details like name, mobile number, and email ID).
Step 4: Submit the mandatory documents and pay the application fee.
Step 5: Crosscheck all the details and submit the BITSAT 2024 application form.
BITSAT 2024 (Session 1): Application Fee
A candidate who chooses to appear twice for BITSAT 2024 must pay Rs 5,400 (for a male candidate) and Rs 4,400 (for a female candidate). Furthermore, candidates who wish to appear once during Session 1 must pay a fee of Rs 2,900 (for female candidates) and Rs 3,400 (for male candidates).
If the candidate decides to apply for a second time (in Session 2), they must pay an additional fee of Rs 2,000 (for male candidates) and Rs 1,500 (for female candidates). If the person chooses to sit for only Session 2, he or she will be charged Rs 2,900 (for a female applicant) and Rs 3,400 (for a male candidate).
The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is administered for students seeking admissions to BE, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), and Master of Science (MSc) programmes at its three campuses located at Pilani, Hyderabad, as well as Goa.
