Registrations for the Birla Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test (BITSAT) 2024 session 2 will close today, June 8. Candidates who are yet to submit their applications can do so via the official website of the Birla Institute of Science and Technology, at bitsadmission.com. The test is for those seeking admission to the institute’s integrated BE, MSc and B. Pharma programs. The applications for BITSAT session 2 commenced on May 18. The fee payment facility will also close today at 5 p.m.
To complete the application, male candidates applying from India and Nepal must pay a fee of Rs 3,400, while female candidates need to pay Rs 2,900. Male and female candidates who live in Dubai need to pay an application fee of Rs 7,000. After the registration window closes, the institute will open the BITSAT rectification service for candidates who want to change details in their application. The BITSAT session 2 application correction window will be accessible from June 11 to 12.
BITSAT 2024 Session 2: How to Register
Step 1: Visit BITS’ official website, bitsadmission.com.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the registration option and click it.
Step 3: The application form for BITSAT 2024 Session 2 will be displayed on your screen.
Step 4: Carefully fill out all of the information and make sure to choose three exam centres
Step 5: Upload any relevant documents, such as scanned photos of photographs and signatures.
Step 6: Pay the application fee and click submit.
Step 7: Before making the final submission, double-check all of the information and click Proceed.
Step 8: Download and print the application form for future reference.
To be eligible for admission to BITS, students must pass the Class 12 test with an aggregate of 75 per cent marks in math, physics, and chemistry, as well as demonstrate appropriate English proficiency. The BITSAT session 2 exam in 2024 is planned to take place from June 24 to June 28. The admit cards for the BITSAT Session 2 exam are likely to be released on June 19. It will include the candidate’s name, test date and time, test centre name and address, candidate portrait and signature, and exam instructions.
The BITSAT can be taken twice a year. Candidates who are dissatisfied with their marks or wish to improve their scores will be allowed to retake the exam in the second session. The session one results were announced on June 4. For students who attend both sessions, the higher BITSAT score will be used to determine the admissions merit list.
