The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the admit card for the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 for the exam scheduled to be held at Silchar and Delhi centres today, May 25.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar took to X (formally Twitter) and posted an update regarding the (CUET UG) 2024 exam that is to be held on May 29. As per the latest updates, the CUET UG 2024 May 15 exam for the Delhi centre as well as the May 24 exam for Silchar students have been postponed to May 29 due to unavoidable reasons.
“For the test papers to be conducted on 29 May 2024 in Pen and Paper (OMR) mode, NTA will issue fresh Admit Cards for the concerned candidates either tonight or tomorrow,” the UGC chairman posted.

The NTA recently postponed the CUET UG 2024 exam for Environmental Studies (307) and Bengali (104), which was initially set for May 24 in Silchar, Assam.
Candidates who were unable to travel to other cities will no longer be required to go outside of Silchar, Assam, for the CUET UG 2024 exam. Candidates who chose the CUET UG 2024 Silchar exam centre but received a CUET UG 2024 admit card for another city are eligible for this service.
According to NTA, students who registered for the CUET UG May 24 Bengali (104) and Environmental Studies (307) tests were assigned to various cities due to logistical reasons.
CUET UG Admit Card 2024: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official website at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
Step 2: When the admit card link is active, search and click on “Download CUET Admit Card 2024”.
Step 3: Enter your application number and date of birth (DoB).
Step 4: To access the hall ticket, click on ‘Sign In’ or ‘Submit’.
Step 5: The CUET UG 2024 hall ticket will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Check all the details and download the admit card.
The CUET UG 2024 May 29 exam will be pen-and-paper based. According to reports, the CUET UG 2024 May 24 exam postponement decision was taken in response to a letter from Assam’s education minister, Ranoj Pegu, to NTA on the request to provide CUET exam centres in Barak Valley.
