The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the admit card for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 2) on their official website: afcat.cdac.in. Candidates can download their admit cards by entering their email ID and password. The AFCAT 2 2024 examination is scheduled to be held from August 9 to 11, 2024. This exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force to select candidates for Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Those who are appearing for the exam are required to carry their AFCAT 2 admit card and valid photo ID proof to the exam centre for verification purposes.

The admit card is an essential document that must be carried to the examination centre, containing the candidate’s name, roll number, examination date, time, venue, and instructions for the exam day. Candidates must ensure that the details on the admit card are correct. If there are any discrepancies, they should contact the AFCAT authorities immediately.

AFCAT 2 Admit Card 2024: How to Download

Step 1: Visit the official AFCAT website: cdac.in

Step 2: Click on the link for “AFCAT 02/2024 Admit Card.”

Step 3: Enter your login credentials (Email ID and Password).

Step 4: Submit the details to log in.

Step 5: Download and print your admit card.

The online application process for AFCAT 2024 opened on May 30 and closed on June 28. Candidates were required to register, fill out the application form, and pay the application fee within this period. The examination fee for AFCAT entry was Rs 550 + GST (non-refundable).

The examination mode is online and the duration of it is 2 hours for AFCAT and an additional 45 minutes for the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) for technical candidates. There are a total of 100 MCQ type questions for AFCAT and 50 for EKT. Candidates are rewarded with 3 marks for each correct answer whereas 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.

IAF AFCAT 2 Exam 2024 Guidelines

–– Admit Card and ID Proof: Candidates must bring their admit card, a valid photo ID (like Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, etc.), and two passport-size photographs to the exam centre.

–– Reporting Time: Arrive at the exam centre at least 90 minutes before the scheduled start time.

–– Prohibited Items: Electronic gadgets, study materials, calculators, and any other unauthorized items are not allowed inside the exam hall
