Indian Air Force has begun a recruitment drive for Group C Civilian posts under the HQ South Western Air Command, IAF AoR. Air Force has invited applications for a total of 255 posts. The notification announcing the vacancies in the Indian Air Force has been released at the official website—www.airmenselection.cdac.in. Candidates who want to apply for these posts will have to send the filled application form via Speed Post. The last date to send applications is March 30.

The posts available include multi-tasking staff (MTS), housekeeping staff, mess staff, lower division clerk (LDC), clerk Hindi typist, stenographer grade-II, storekeeper, laundryman, carpenter, painter, among others.

The application form has to be sent along with the required documents such as- education qualification, age, domicile certificate, experience and caste certificate, etc. A photocopy of these documents has to be duly self-attested and attached with the application form.

Selection Criteria:

Applications are examined based on age limit, qualification, documents and certificates. Candidates who are found to be eligible will be sent a call letter for the written test.

The written test will be conducted based on the minimum educational qualification.

The written test will consist of subjects such as- General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness.

Shortlisted candidates will then be called for skill practical/physical test wherever applicable based on the merit in the written exam.

IAF Recruitment 2021: Important Points to apply

Candidate applying for Group C vacancies in the Indian Air Force station are advised to check the eligibility criteria and required qualifications for the subject they have chosen.

Candidates must ensure that the application form is duly typed either in English or in Hindi as per the prescribed format given below:

Candidates must clearly mention on the envelope- “APPLICATION FOR THE OF……AND CATEGORY………”.

The application form must have an affixed recent coloured passport size photograph. It has to be duly attested.

The application form must be accompanied by a self-addressed envelope consisting of Rs 10 age stamp.

Application forms are to be submitted by the candidates at the addresses specified in the notification.

All documents in support of educational qualification, age, domicile certificate, experience and caste certificate etc should be self-attested.

OBC candidates who are applying under the reserved quota should list their caste under the Central List of OBCs.
