The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the results for the JK Board 12th exams 2024. As per the official date sheet, the JKBOSE 12th exams 2024 were conducted between March 6 and 28. Students can check and download their marksheets through the official website – jkbose.nic.in.
Of the 69,385 students who appeared for the exam this year, 93,340 passed. The total pass percentage this year stood at 74 per cent. This is an increase of 9% from last year when of the 1,27,636 students registered, 82,441 passed. The overall pass percentage in 2023 stood at 65%. The pass percentage among girls was 68% and among boys, it was 61%. Furthermore, girls have once again outperformed boys this year.

JKBOSE 12th Result 2024: Grading System, Passing Marks
The grading system for the JKBOSE 12th Result 2024 is structured based on the following percentages:
– 75% and above: Grade A
– 60% to below 74%: Grade B
– 52% to below 59%: Grade C
– 45% to below 51%: Grade D
– 33% to below 44%: Grade E
– 15% to below 32%: Grade F
– Below 15%: Grade G
The minimum passing mark for the JKBOSE 12th examination 2024 is 35%. The board provides grace marks to students who fall short by a few marks in any subject. Those who failed to achieve the minimum marks will required to take the exam once again.
