The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, has started the registration process for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) BArch admissions 2024. Interested candidates may apply atarch2024.mahacet.org.in, the official website for MHT CET BArch admissions 2024.
MHT CET BArch Admission 2024: Registration Process
-Candidates must choose between the online and offline modes of document verification while registering for counselling. Candidates who choose the online verification option will have their documents verified online, and students will receive an email acknowledgement. Candidates who choose to verify their documents offline must choose which facilitation centre they must visit in order to complete the process.
-The MHT CET counselling and seat allotment procedure will consist of three rounds. Candidates must register online at the counselling portal, upload scanned copies of their documentation, and pay the necessary counselling fee in order to take part in the MHT CET counselling. Following registration, a merit list of registered candidates based on their class 12 and CET scores will be released by the CET Cell. Seat distribution in 2024 will be determined by a candidate’s ranking on the MHT CET merit list.
MHT CET BArch 2024: Admission Schedule
As per the official schedule, the deadline for completing the MHT CET 2024 BArch application form is July 31, 2024. Candidates must complete and submit the application form with all required details before the deadline to be considered for BArch courses offered by MHT CET.
On August 3, the MHT CET BArch tentative merit list will be released. From August 4 to August 5, 2024, candidates will have the opportunity to file grievances against the provisional merit list.
On August 7, the MHT CET BArch 2024 final merit list will be published on the official website. The MHT CET BArch 2024 final merit list can only be downloaded by candidates using their login information, which includes their date of birth and registration number. After registering online, there will be three rounds of the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) for the MHT CET BArch admission counselling in 2024.
If two or more candidates have identical relative merit scores, the tie will be broken. Preference would be given to candidates with better or higher marks in JEE Main Paper 2 or NATA. Candidates with higher SSC mathematics scores will be given preference if there is still a tie. Candidates with higher SSC aggregate marks will be taken into consideration if the tie continues.
