MP Assistant Tehsildar Faints During Meeting With Tikamgarh DM

In a surprising turn of events during an administrative meeting in Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, an Assistant Tehsildar fainted in front of District Magistrate Awadhesh Sharma, causing alarm within the Collectorate. The incident took place while officials from various departments were present, leading to immediate medical attention for the officer and sparking concern among the attendees.

Awadhesh Sharma hails from Indore and was born on August 28, 1973. He pursued a B.Sc. degree and, after completing his studies, appeared for the UPSC exam, which he passed in 2012. He was appointed as an IAS officer in the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He was appointed on September 4, 2019, and on July 14, 2023, he became the Collector of Tikamgarh.

Recently, a meeting took place in the District Collectorate of Tikamgarh, attended by officials from all departments, with the Collector Awadhesh Sharma present. During the meeting, Assistant Tehsildar Manish Jain suddenly collapsed after experiencing severe stomach pain. He fell from his chair and lost consciousness, causing panic in the Collectorate. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors revealed that the fainting episode was caused by gas.

Before his current position, he was the Assistant Tehsildar in Mohangarh and is currently responsible for overseeing the CM Helpline work.

Last month, a similar incident happened where a head constable of Delhi Police died probably of a heart attack while dancing at the farewell party of the station house officer of Roop Nagar Police Station in north Delhi.

According to police, Head Constable Ravi Kumar was originally from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, and had joined the Delhi Police in 2010. The Roop Nagar SHO had been transferred recently and a farewell party was thrown in his honour on Wednesday. Kumar, while dancing at the party, suddenly fell and complained of chest pain.
