All-New 4th Generation Nissan X-TRAIL Launched In India, Price Starts At Rs 49.92 Lakh
The X-TRAIL boasts the World’s First Variable Compression engine, offering impressive power and fuel efficiency.

Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) has launched its latest All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL in India at an introductory price of Rs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

This new SUV, featuring Nissan’s Variable Compression Turbo technology, promises a perfect mix of versatility, reliability, and practicality for auto enthusiasts.

Bookings for the All-New X-TRAIL began on July 26, with a deposit of Rs 1,00,000 required. Buyers will get a 3-year/100,000 km warranty and 3 years of free roadside assistance, with optional PMP coverage for up to 5 years.

The All-New X-TRAIL comes in three stylish colors: Champagne Silver, Pearl White, and Diamond Black. Pre-bookings are now open at Nissan dealerships across India and on their official website.

The All-New X-TRAIL boasts the world’s first production Variable Compression engine, which enhances both power and fuel efficiency. It comes with the latest 3rd generation XTRONIC CVT, featuring D-Step Logic Control and Paddle Shifters for smooth shifting and improved acceleration.

The SUV also incorporates the 12V ALiS mild hybrid system, which boosts fuel economy, reduces CO2 emissions, and offers benefits like torque assist and quick restart. Currently, it stands as the only Japanese CBU SUV in its segment in India.

According to the official Press Release, Frank Torres, President of Nissan India Operations, stated, “We realised that our Indian customers aspired and demanded globally acclaimed SUV product offerings, so with this All-New 4th Generation X-TRAIL, we have announced the relaunch of our CBU Business. It is the first of many products that we have planned for India in the coming years for our discerning customers who value premium design, spaciousness, comfort, and cutting-edge technology.”

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, added, “We are delighted with the response we have received for the relaunch of the CBU business, and the pre-bookings received. We are ready for X-TRAIL deliveries starting in August.”

Globally, the Nissan X-TRAIL has been a top seller, ranking among the top 5 SUVs in 2023 with over 4,50,000 units sold. Available in over 150 markets, the X-TRAIL has achieved over 7.8 million sales worldwide. The SUV lineup includes three variants: Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), ICE Mild Hybrid, and the advanced E Power model.
