The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has released the Phase 2 examination schedule for Class 8 and Class 9 students for the academic year 2024. As per the official schedule, the exams are set to commence on November 26 this year for both classes. The NBSE Class 8 and 9 exams will be held from 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
All appearing candidates should keep in mind that the Phase 2 exams will be conducted in offline mode. Students can check the phase 2 examination schedule on the official website at nbsenl.edu.in.
Schools have also been directed to carry out internal assessments for courses like general knowledge, life skill education, and Nagaland heritage studies (in both English and the local dialect). Moreover, all registered schools are advised to adhere to the timings given by the NBSE.
NBSE Class 8 (Phase 2) Examination Schedule 2024
– November 26: English – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– November 28: Science – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– November 30: Social Sciences – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 2: Grammar – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 5: Mathematics – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 7: Hindi – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
For Class 9, the results from both Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be collated and submitted to the NBSE through the online portal by December 18, 2024. The exam schedule must be closely adhered to by private schools that are registered with the NBSE.

– November 26: Social Sciences – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– November 28: English – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– November 30: Second Language (Tenyidie/Ao/Sumi/Lotha/Hindi/Bengali/Alt. English) – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– November 30: Mathematics- 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 2: Science – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 6: Sixth Subjects (FIT, Music, BK & Accountancy) – 9:30 AM to 11 AM
– December 9: Vocational Subjects (TeS, Retail, Tourism & Hospitality, Beauty & Wellness, Electronics, Multi-Skill Foundation Course, Agriculture, Automotive, Plumbing) – 9:30 AM to 11 AM.
Earlier in August, NBSE announced the State Talent Search Examination (STSE) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) which was designed to identify and nurture young minds in these critical domains. The Nagaland Board aims to hold the STSE exam in two levels – State and District. Students studying in Class 9 are eligible to participate in the STSE 2024 Exam.
