The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has made a significant announcement, with government recruitment opportunities in various departments across the state. Particularly noteworthy is the release of vacancies for the posts of Clerk Grade 2/Junior Assistant. The drive aims to fill a total of 4,197 positions.

Vacancies

Among these vacancies, 584 posts are designated for clerks in the Government Secretariat, 61 posts for clerks in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, and a substantial 3552 posts for Junior Assistants in subordinate departments and offices of the state.

Application Process

The recruitment process for the Rajasthan Clerk Grade 2/Junior Assistant positions will be conducted through online mode, with the application link set to activate on February 20. Candidates will have until March 20 to submit their applications through the official website rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria outlined in the recruitment notification, candidates are required to have a minimum educational qualification of 12th pass. Additionally, applicants must possess an O-level certificate or another prescribed computer certificate, the details of which are provided in the notification. Proficiency in Hindi and knowledge of Rajasthan’s culture are also prerequisites for the position.

Age Limit

Regarding age requirements, candidates must be between 18 and 40 years old, with age calculated as of January 1, 2025. Relaxation in the maximum age limit will apply to candidates belonging to reserved categories, as specified in the notification.

Selection Process

The selection process for the Rajasthan Clerk Grade 2/Junior Assistant Recruitment will consist of a two-phase examination. In the first phase, candidates will be assessed on their knowledge in General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, Hindi and English. The second phase of the examination will test candidates’ computer typing speed.
