RRB Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment: Check Eligibility, Age Limit And Salary

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) recently conducted a hiring for the position of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). RRB will be conducting the ALP examination to hire suitable candidates. RRB ALP 2024 Age Limit

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) oversees the hiring process for Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP). Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old. Additionally, SC, ST, and OBC candidates are entitled to age relaxation. SC and ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation, while OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation. Ex-servicemen can avail a relaxation of 3 to 8 years. Widows and divorced women can also avail of age relaxation and can apply before the age of 35. Female candidates, irrespective of their OBC, SC, or ST category, can apply before 40.

RRB ALP 2024 Qualification

Candidates eyeing an Assistant Loco Pilot position in Railways must meet specific eligibility criteria. They must have completed their 10th and an ITI course in trades such as Electrician, Electronics, Mechanical, Fitter, Heat Engine Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Radio and TV, Tractor Mechanic, etc. Candidates who have an apprenticeship during their 10th or 12th-grade education will be eligible to apply. Other candidates who have completed their 10th or 12th grade along with a three-year diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering are also eligible to apply.

RRB ALP Qualification 2024 Nationality

Eligibility for the Assistant Loco Pilot position in Indian Railways requires candidates to be Indian citizens. Furthermore, individuals from Nepal and Bhutan are also qualified to apply. Additionally, Indian citizens who have migrated from countries such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and Kenya, among others, are eligible to submit their applications.

RRB ALP Medical Standards 2024: Medical Qualification

Medical qualifications are mandatory for individuals applying for the Assistant Loco Pilot position in RRB. Applicants need to have 6/6 vision without glasses. Their colour vision and night vision capabilities will be assessed during the medical examination process.
