UPMSP Takes Proactive Measures To Address Around 1000 Student Grievances During Examinations
Currently, a command room has been established at the board headquarters to oversee examination centres.

In addition to conducting the high school and intermediate examinations efficiently, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) also addressed all the complaints promptly. Both students and their parents reached out to the control room to report their issues. Approximately one thousand complaints were addressed, but the Board also received several fake calls, some of which alleged cheating. Upon recognising this, the Board swiftly addressed the matter and rectified the misunderstanding.

Candidates continued to raise concerns about errors in their mark sheets and certificates. The board promptly addressed these complaints while also overseeing the examination process.

The UP Board worked diligently at various levels during the exams. Currently, a command room has been established at the board headquarters to oversee examination centres across the state, totalling more than eight thousand. Additionally, the strong rooms at these examination centres are being monitored from control rooms set up in all District School Inspector offices across the state, as well as from the board.

A 24-hour complaint cell has been established by the board to address grievances received via phone from across the state. Initially created to handle issues arising during examinations, the cell received inquiries regarding admit cards during the initial phase. Periodically, calls were also received regarding instances of copying at some centres, with a significant number of fake reports. Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla stated that over one thousand issues have been resolved through the complaint cell, deeming the initiative a success. This has provided the board with an opportunity to comprehend and resolve the concerns of the candidates effectively.

During the launch of the UPMSP portal, UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla stated, “Every year, over 55 lakh candidates register for the high school and intermediate examinations conducted by the Board. Many candidates often encounter challenges when attempting to rectify errors in their educational records by visiting regional offices. With the students’ best interests in mind, the Board has made an innovative effort for the first time to address their concerns. This new portal offers an online solution to resolve their issues and inquiries.”
