The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially commenced the application process for the WBJEE 2024 today, December 28. Eligible candidates may submit their applications online at wbjeeb.nic.in, the official website of WBJEEB. The application form must be submitted on or before January 31, 2024. Candidates will have the opportunity to make changes to their application forms between February 3 and February 5. As per the schedule, the WBJEE 2024 is scheduled to take place on April 28 in two sessions, from 11 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm. The admit card for the exam will be made available on April 18 as per the schedule issued.
WBJEE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
–– Applicants for the WBJEE 2024 must be Indian citizens or OCI (subject to authorization by the Competent Authority). The All-India quota will only allow OCI candidates to apply for Unreserved seats.
–– Candidates are required to have passed the class 12 or equivalent exam before 2024 or be scheduled to take the class 12 test in 2024 to be eligible for the WBJEE 2024.
–– The applicant must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. WBJEE has no maximum age limit, however, the Marine Engineering Degree Course has a 25-year maximum age limit as of December 31, 2024.
WBJEE 2024: How To Apply
Step 1: Visit the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
Step 2: Search for and click on the registration link that says ‘Apply for WBJEE 2024’ on the homepage.
Step 3: When the new page loads, click on New Registration and fill out the relevant information.
Step 4: Navigate to the application link and complete the application form as instructed.
Step 5: Finally, upload all scanned documents and submit the application fee.
Step 6: Submit the WBJEE application form and save it for future records.
WBJEE 2024: application fee
Applicants in the general category must register and pay an application fee of Rs. 500. On the other hand, registration costs for those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) groups are Rs 400. However, any female applicants who fall under the categories of SC, ST, OBC-A, OBCB, EWS, TFW, or third gender must pay an application fee of Rs 300.
The WBJEE-2024 common entrance test is administered by WBJEEB to students wishing to enrol in UG engineering, pharmacy, and architecture programmes at various universities, government colleges, and self-financing engineering and technological institutes in West Bengal for the academic year 2024–2025.
