The Caprese X Gauri & Nainika show on the third day of Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI 2023 was an absolute delight. Some of the most popular Indian squash players starting from Joshna Chinappa, Tanvi Khanna, Anahat Singh, Dipika Pallikal and Abhay Singh took to the ramp as showstoppers to present the designer duo’s stellar Spring Summer 2024 collection. The collection showcased a phenomenal blend of vintage elegance and contemporary style and who better to have pulled these clothes off than these star athletes?
All of the five players seemed like natural pros as they graced the ramp in comfortably chic ensembles. They effortlessly carried these magnificent outfits that drew inspiration from packet prints from the 1920s. Starting off with Abhay Singh, this fantastic squash player looked dapper in an all-black fitted suit paired with a white shirt. The suit also featured a red sequinned glittery embroidered flower pattern which added an uber-cool vibe to the look.
On the other hand, the girls were seen in statement opulent painted skirts which featured bold floral patterns. The silk skirts worn by these phenomenal players brilliantly elevated the concept of regular wear. While Dipika and Joshna paired the skirts with regular black and white tee shirts, Anahat and Tanvi’s tees featured graphic prints.

The ladies in the team ditched makeup and took to the runway with an all-natural look and kept their tresses open and flowing. They accessorised their look with simple white sneakers which was a rather well thought of decision. All of them seemed to be in their true element and really comfortable and happy in the outfits they were sporting for the evening. Dipika, Joshna, Tanvi and Anahat also had their names embroidered in sequins on the back of their t-shirts.
Each of these sports personalities had a huge smile on their faces while walking the ramp signifying how elated they were to have turned muse for the talented designer duo, Gauri & Nainika.
