Milan: Napoli interest in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman has been confirmed according to the player's agent. Strootman has impressed for national side Holland at this month's U21 Euros.
"Napoli's interest in Kevin is serious and PSV confirmed this development to us over the last few days," his representatives told Voetbal International. "As things stand, the player is totally concentrated on doing well at the European Under-21 Championship for his country. Only after that tournament has concluded he will think about his future."
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the midfielder at several points over the past year and new manager David Moyes has been expected to follow up on the initial interest shown by predecessor Sir Alex Ferguson.
However, if Moyes wants to be sure of landing the Dutch international he may have to act quickly now after interest by the Italian giants.
