New Delhi: Tsar Guus has brushed off concerns that he would have to compromise his international role to boss the Blues, reminding everyone that he's juggled two jobs before.
Guus Hiddink is presently in talks with Chelsea over becoming the Premier League giants' caretaker manager, following the sacking of Luiz Felipe Scolari earlier this week.
The well-travelled Dutchman already holds a high-profile coaching job, however, as he is boss of the talented Russia outfit that reached the semi-finals of last year's European Championship.
Thus, there are whispers of doubt as to whether the former Netherlands coach can feasibly remain with the Sbornaja if he takes to the hot-seat at Stamford Bridge.
But it would not be the firs time Hiddink had bossed two teams at once, a fact of which he has been quick to remind everyone.
"I have already done that a couple of years ago when I was coaching Australia and PSV, so I’m familiar with the situation and what it takes," he said in The Sun.
Indeed, Hiddink was quite successful while juggling the Socceroos and the Red-White Army, leading the former to the knockout rounds of the 2006 World Cup and the latter to three Dutch Eredivisie titles.
