Mumbai: IMG-Reliance, the commercial partners of the All India Football Federation, on Friday commenced a one-month long training-cum-conditioning camp for its contracted players at the Cooperage Ground here.
Twenty-four players, including Syed Nabi, Subrata Paul, Gouramangi Singh, Nirmal Chettri, Ishfaq Ahmed, Renedy Singh, Mohammed Rafi, NP Pradeep joined the training-cum-conditioning camp on the first day, while the rest 13 players will be joining shortly.
Trevor James Morgan, who will take charge of the camp from Monday, will oversee the training proceedings.
The 56-year-old has over 18 years of coaching experience at different levels and an almost equal number of years as a professional player.
Morgan will be assisted by Arshad Hussain, former coach to the erstwhile Mahindra United FC, Debashish Mukherjee, goalkeeper coach and Dr Sandeep Kurale, physio.
